The Leake Family

I met this sweet family in our neighborhood parent's network, Grant Park Parent's Network. I've had the joy to see their son, Alex, and my daughter grow up together in this past year. It's incredibly special to have a group of moms to connect with and feel like you are not alone in this new thing called, Parenthood. I am so grateful for this group and the amount of friends I have gained.

I had so much fun with this special family. We got to twirl, pick flowers, jump, and blow some bubbles. It was a perfect way to start the month of May. :)

Maternity Session - Melba + Alejandro + baby Daniel

This sweet family is extra special to me because I've had the privilege to document their engagement, wedding and now ...they are having a beautiful baby boy :) Daniel Alejandro is so lucky to have these two amazing people as his parents. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a woman carry a baby. I am still in awe of how powerful our bodies can be and what they are capable of. Melba, you are absolutely glowing and have such inner strength and beauty. We are so excited to meet your little one.

Newborn: Jacquelyn Ryleigh Rogers

Jacquelyn Ryleigh Rogers was welcomed to the world on March 4, 2015 and is so unbelievably loved by this beautiful family. Tripp is one happy little man and who is eager to play his new role as the big brother of the house. Aunt Alex's nurturing spirit filled the room with such grace and joy.

Eve and Larry, thank you so much for allowing me to document these very special times. I am forever grateful.

Javier Sebastian Diego

Seeing how a newborn baby can create so much harmony and love between a family and being able to capture these moments, truly fills my heart with so much gratitude and joy. Javier Sebastian Diego came to the world on February 10, 2015. Big brother, August, is pretty excited to have this new role in the family.

The Joyner Family

Oh newborn sessions...they are one of my favorite sessions to document.I feel so lucky and privileged to be capturing these precious moments. These photo sessions always remind me to cherish every single second with my daughter because they grow and change way too fast.

Alana (owner of ABJ Photography) and David brought their son, Will, to the world  in December. They wanted to savor these last few days in their first home before they move  into their new house to start new memories with their sweet family.

The Betanco Family

I seem to always repeat this quote, "Family is life's greatest blessing", but it is completely true. Jorgito and Victoria are Daniela's sweet cousins that came to visit all the way from Texas. It is so hard to get together and see each other. But when we do, we make sure to treasure these sweet moments and create beautiful memories. These two are so incredibly sweet and their parents are pretty awesome too :) We are so blessed to have this amazing family in our lives.

Jorgito also seemed to bond with our pug, Moco. :)

2014 - An Unforgettable Year

2014 has been a year filled with so much adventure, excitement, and amazing clients who I am lucky enough to call them close, dear friends. I am so incredibly grateful each and every one of you. You have all impacted my life in so many ways - and for that I am forever thankful.

Please enjoy this slideshow with just some of my favorite moments :)

"New Year's Day. A fresh start. A new chapter in life waiting to be written. New questions to be asked, embraced, and loved. Answers to be discovered and then lived in this transformative year of delight and self-discovery. Today carve out a quiet interlude for yourself in which to dream, pen in hand. Only dreams give birth to change"

The Parkman Family

Kim's and my friendship began when I was a few months pregnant with Daniela. She had reached out to me when I asked for a prenatal yoga class in a Facebook mom's group. She quickly became a dear friend of mine. Making "mommy" friends can be intimidating, awkward, and overwhelming... kind of like high school. But Kim made me feel like I was not alone in this new and vulnerable journey called Motherhood. And for that, I am FOREVER grateful.

Kim and Will have a beautiful son named Freddie. This sweet boy is such a joyful baby and fills their lives with endless love and laughter.

The Schechter Family

My husband and I were lucky enough to have met Bonnie and Matt at a birthing class back in May and have become close friends since. Their sweet bundle of joy was born three days before our little girl. Photographing this  family was such a huge joy because 1. I adore them and 2. because just look at their GORGEOUS eyes! What a stunning family! Bonnie and Matt, thank you for being such a big part of our lives. We are so blessed for your friendship.

Engaged | Nacho & Andrea

This weekend was filled with an EXTRA special photo-shoot....my amazing brother's engagement session. I cannot express how much I truly love my brother. He has always been there for me, cared for me, and was actually the one who brought me to the world of photography, my passion. I am so incredibly grateful to have him as my brother and his fiancé as my future sister-in-law. Andrea and Nacho's love story began with these adorable chipmunks, Simon and Jeanette, and have been around ever since. Andrea, thank you for making my brother smile everyday.

Engaged | Robin & Luke

I met Robin a few years ago in a photography course back in Savannah College of Art & Design. I always admired her outstanding work and the passion she put into every project she presented. When she  reached out to me a couple of months ago to photograph her wedding, I was so honored and filled with gratitude. To be honest...I was also a bit nervous. Photographing a wedding is a big enough responsibility...but photographing a fellow PHOTOGRAPHER'S wedding, is even more pressure.

When Robin & Luke told me they wanted to go fly fishing during their engagement shoot, I got really excited! I love it when couples are passionate  about their hobbies and want to incorporate them in their photo shoots. This couple was  no joke, they are really good at fly fishing, and seemed to love being within nature. We met at the Sweetwater State Park (which is A-MAZING!) and we "hiked", for what felt like 10 miles. (I'm sure it was less than a mile...but this momma is out of shape after having her baby) Every corner of this gorgeous park was filled with so much inspiration...

Perfect fall afternoon + stunning light, + a beautiful couple in love = a photographer's dream!

Robin and Luke, thank you so much for allowing me to document these special moments. I'm counting down the months for your wedding!
